Currently in Fullerton, CA. Arrived Saturday night, here til Thursday afternoon.
Had a pretty big fight with my mom today. I'd write a page or two about it, but I visited my mentor/friend Sojyung immediately afterward, and I don't feel the need to dredge up all of those emotions again. Talking to her was as cathartic as it always is. It's good to know that people really care about me.
Had dinner with my grandpa and took an hour-long walk with him afterward. Fed ducks. He told me about his war experiences and also about how funny I was as a kid.
Today was really emotionally harrowing, but the latter half of it was so enjoyable that I'm mostly just drained, not upset.
It's good to be near Rachel.
