Day 18

Went to Pahrump, NV today with Kevin Nelson (of Palo Verde High School and Pace U.) to buy fireworks.  It made me realize a few things.

1. Las Vegas isn't terrible.  There are far worse places to live.
2. I'd rather be friendless than have to force things with people I really don't like
3. If people can survive a lifetime in Pahrump, I can survive a few months in Las Vegas.
4. I am not a bitter person.
5. I am no longer in high school and can't choose friends the way I would as a fifteen-year-old.

I feel like I just escaped from a hurricane of negativity.  Nice to be "home."
